The history of the Yekkar-Karkal-Virajpet Noronha family
Indian Patronymic Raai
In memory of Diego Noronha of Karkal, the founder of the Karkal branch of the Noronha (Raai) family.
His deep love for his brothers and relations, his selfless interest in the promotion of their welfare and his zeal in ameliorating their condition in life, has made the family well known and respected in the community. In recognition of his services to the family, this family history is dedicated to him by his son.

Dear Vivian Noronha,
I am highly pleased to know that our genealogical website has been created and put up in the internet. I was just finding out if there is any information about our ancestors available in the internet and was glad to find one. I belong to this Noronha family. My name is PERCY NORONHA S/O STANISLAUS JOSEPH NORONHA residing in Bendore. My father died on the 25th January 2007. I remember Fr. Sebastian Noronha had approached my father some years back to collect information about Noronha family to record in a book on genealogy. Though I am yet to go through the information from this website, I am proud to be part of this Noronha family. Thanks a great deal for all the trouble taken to create this website.
